My name is Julie Simmons and I'm a 38 year old mother of two girls aged 4½  and 3.  Together with my husband and two loveable dogs we live in sunny Queensland Australia.

For many years I had battled my weight unsuccessfully.  My husband while trying to be supportive, could not really understand what I was going through and unfortunately this would cause the occasional argument between us. You see, he is one of those men that can just eat whatever he wants and doesn't put on weight - very annoying for me.  That has all changed now and I feel so completely confident within myself and my ability to wear the clothes that I have always wanted to.

Starting this blog has been such an achievement for me and I sincerely hope that it has been valuable for you.
